Red Pepper Basil Martini


⅓ of a red bell pepper, sliced into strips

5 fresh basil leaves

½ lime, juiced

1 ½ oz gin

1 tsp simple syrup


In a cocktail shaker, combine red pepper, basil and lime juice. Muddle thoroughly until the red pepper is smashed and doesn’t have any crunch left to it.

Add gin and ice and shake.

Strain into a chilled martini glass.
